[EP 138] Today, I had the absolute pleasure of chatting with Sam Tait, an incredible athlete whose journey is nothing short of extraordinary.
We dive into Sam’s life-changing motorbike accident that severed his spine and how he learned to love himself in a wheelchair. Sam takes us through his experiences competing in the 2018 PyeongChang Paralympics and the heartbreak of the Beijing Games, including the crash he’ll never forget. But Sam’s story doesn’t end there – he’s hungry for redemption and has his sights set on Italy 2026.
We also talk about his amazing achievement of becoming the first paraplegic person to climb Mount Kosciuszko, an adventure captured in the inspiring documentary “All The Way Up.” Plus, Sam shares his incredible experience starring in the short film “Unstoppable.”
Sam has accomplished so much, and it was so much fun hearing his story. I know you’ll be just as inspired by his journey as I am.
